(A) God Vishnu Narayana (Moving on the Waters) in the aspect of Anantasayana (Sheshayana) sitting in padmasana (vajraparyankasana?) on the lotus pedestal under the protective canopy of seven hooded cobra heads with the cranial gemstones of the cosmic serpent Shesha Ananta (Endless Remainder). Possible alternative interpretation: god Balarama as the avatara of the cosmic serpent Shesha. (B) God Vishnu Narayana (Moving on the Waters) in the aspect of Anantasayana (Sheshayana) sitting in ardhaparyankasana (?) on the coiled body of the cosmic serpent Shesha Ananta (Endless Remainder) under the protective canopy of seven hooded cobra heads with the cranial gemstones. Possible alternative interpretation: god Balarama as the avatara of the cosmic serpent Shesha.
